Dinner

Before I left for the field trip today, I put an almost-four pound roast in the crock pot.

Then I forgot to turn it on.

I got home at 3pm, and dinner was expected at 6:30, so I just popped it in the oven at 375. It turned out pretty tasty, but was fatty enough that it would have done better with the lower, longer cooking.

The best part of the meal? The roasted carrots. They tasted like candy.

  1. um, I usually chuck out cooked carrots. no like ! but i will be eating raw baby carrots later today
